HEXEN! In Doom3! Yeah, I played it, it felt amazing. Classic Doom3 is included in this mod, which is why that is not listed on my list, this has that and much much more. What more could you ask for? Before playing Ruiner, this was THE Doom3 mod to own. (This mod DOES improve with Sikkmod installed)ĭoom 3 coop, Doom3 classic, and lots of new multiplayer content and game modes and features that Doom3 should have had.
Wolfen Textures keeps the authenticity of vanilla Doom3 while making it feel better. Why this on the list instead of other Doom3-to-HD mods? Because they all add too much junk to kill the game. This texture pack is the Doom3 textures made to true HD resolution, the kind we call photo-realistic. Not to be confused for an RPG, it's really a shooter with hack-and-slash action included, just it's in 3d person. An amazing mod that is third person and has an RPG vibe yet feels like Doom and even has the Icon of Sin in all his new 3d glory.
